In addition to migratory birds, we have also been catching many of the resident species present in our study area, albeit in lower numbers (see table below). The species composition reflects our net placement in both tropical dry forest and mangrove savannah habitats, such that forest species like the Bright-rumped Atila feature prominently alongside savannah species like the Near-threatened and Yucatan endemic Black Catbird. Whilst resident captures are an indirect outcome of our project, they are still valuable data and thus we will make them available in the public domain through appropriate channels such as the Biodiversity and Environment Resource Data System of Belize (BERDS, see links).
